Natural disasters is one of the most common scenerio in Bangladesh. Many people are affected by various disasters. Most worse people are women and children. Because men to survive easily elsewhere can go from disasters. But some women can do it. Now, there are some good news for the disaster affected women. Loan with only three per cent service charge to improve their standard of living will be given to total 25,900 disadvantaged women of the country.
Official sources said the Government a Taka 65.56 crore project loan facilities to various disadvantaged women, including widows, divorced women and orphans provide hit has.
Under the project of Taka 20,000 will each woman at the age of 18 to 40, which earns less than Taka 25,000 annually given. For the proper use of the loan Taka 5,000 receive each of women.
The Ministry of LGRD and cooperative has a project proposal already sent the planning Ministry. It is expected, approved, next month, the sources said.
The Government will provide the entire Fund by the three year project. The Department of the Association in cooperation with the national women cooperative will implement the project.
Chancellor of the cooperative Department Mushfeka Islam said BSS that the Government has adopted the project as part of the implementation of the vision 2021.
