Dhaka, 22 Oct. 2009 (bdnews24.com)-Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina for Berlin Health Summit 2011 has relied on a five day visit to Germany to the world.A special stairs Biman Bangladesh Airlines with Hasina participated in the airport of Hazrat Shahjalal at 05: 30 on Saturday, Foreign Ministry officials said.
Foreign Minister Dipu Moni, Health Minister A F M Ruhul Haque, Ambassador-at-large M Ziya accompanied her.
She would be about the World Health Summit in Berlin on Sunday as the main speaker.
During the October 22-26 visit, they will also meet German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Oct 25 and address a joint press conference.
Bilateral relations are likely to be checked during the session.
Visit carry special significance for Bangladesh-Germany relations, as the largest economy in Europe is also one of the largest trading partner and a major development partner of Bangladesh.
Germany is a leading economic and political power in Europe and an influential member of the European Union and the G8, the Group of eight major economies.
Two joint declarations of intent-one on adaptation and reduction on climate change and the other on cooperation in the field of health, as suggested by German Seite--are expected to be signed during the visit.
Hasina have also a meeting with the President of the Bundestag.
On Oct 24, they take care of a seminar with the title ' emerging market Bangladesh ' organized Hotel Adlon in Berlin, the German-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and leading German businessmen and potential investors are involved.
German South Asian Group will later that day to hold a dinner in her honor.
The German Minister for economic development and cooperation, Dirk niebel, who is Minister for the environment, Norbert Rottami gene and Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle call on the Prime Minister on Oct 25.
The German President to visit Bangladesh next month.
Hasina is expected to return home on 26 October.
