The main objective of the show, styled 'International Women's SME Expo Bangladesh 2011', is to familiarise the industrial products of women entrepreneurs with consumers.
Commerce minister Faruk Khan will inaugurate the fair at the Railway Polo Ground, CWCCI vice-president Gulshan Ali told a press conference at Chittagong Press Club on Tuesday.
She said entrepreneurs from Iran, Pakistan and India have confirmed their participation in the fair.
CWCCI president Monwara Hakim Ali said the expo is the largest one in South Asian SME field.
There will be 400 stalls and 20 pavilions in the fair.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), and SME Foundation are cooperating with the chamber to organise the fair.
